What they say about their experiences with us

Sending our children to Pail and Shovel was definitely one of the best decisions we have ever made as parents.

Our son, Santino is doing very well right now in big school and a huge part of that we owe to his 4 years in Pail and Shovel. They not only prepared him well academically but more importantly-- He grew up to be the fine, confident and well molded young man that he is now.

Our daughter, Aniella is an incoming Kinder student. She absolutely loves going to school and is very eager to learn new things everytime. More than being just Smart kids, Pail and Shovel kids are Happy Kids! That's what matters most to us parents.

Loving Parents of Santino, Aniella and Baby#3

I've searched for a preschool for our son for almost 3 months in 2008. I have a long list of 'must haves' in the school that I want for Aidan who's only turning 3 years old during that time. The Pail and Shovel tarpaulins along P. Tuazon Ave and Santolan Ave drew my attention and I decided to visit the school with Aidan. On March 18, 2008, I went to the school with Aidan. I saw Aidan's eyes light up the moment we entered the classroom (with the toys and material on the shelves). He was allowed to explore, including the toys - check! Teacher Myles discussed with me the school philosophy, teaching method, everything I need to know about the school - check!. I felt at home immediately in the school. I was browsing through their photo albums and saw the smile in the faces of the students, parents and teachers. She gave us a tour of the school, which I really enjoyed because at least I saw the classrooms and other facilities.

.After that first visit in 2008, I never had any regrets in enrolling our son in Pail and Shovel. I have witnessed and experienced, first hand, how the school philosophy is applied. Aidan's progress during his first year (2's and 3's class) in Pail and Shovel was over and beyond our expectations. He became a happy learner, explorer, and caring child. More importantly, he became independent and is able to express his feelings and emotions through speech. P&S was instrumental in developing and nurturing Aidan's confidence to face the challenges of everyday life.

I give credit to his dedicated teachers and everyone in the school who untiringly showered the children with love and used every opportunities to promote a healthy learning atmosphere. I am very are grateful to his teachers for giving us feedback and unselfishly sharing their know-how on how Aidan can further improve his skills. I also commend the efforts of the school in promoting parents and guardians involvement in all activities. It has really fostered a good relationship amongst the parent/guardians, children and school staff.

Kanneyla was probably one of the first playschoolers of Pail and Shovel. She sat in one of the class trials and noticeably enjoyed it that I knew I had to enroll her come that school year (2005)

.Pail and Shovel breathed creativity, imagination and a happy environment for young minds. My daughter was always a happy and excited camper going to and coming from school each and everyday. I was amazed by how easily she learned how to read, count her numbers and speak confidently. The non-traditional approach was the baseline for her social and critical thinking skills which fully armed her as she went to big school

.The best part for me is seeing her develop as a well-rounded child and I treasure the qualitative assessments that the teachers diligently and painstakingly prepared periodically. They helped me understand my daughter better and provided me with ways on how to best support her going into primary education

.Ask her to this day about her P&S years and she would always brim with smile reminiscing her pre-school years. To her, it was like a big "Dora adventure" complete with a backpack, a map and loads of fun and learning. The community felt like her second home; the people, her second family, that she couldn't wait to go back and visit them again.

Her stint at Pail and Shovel is one of the best choices I made as a parent. She has continuously excelled in her present school and I am confident that she will do so way past her formal education as she drivingly reaches for her dreams.”
